I’m a traditionally trained, independent upholsterer.

For more than ten years, I have helped clients transform their treasured furniture into pieces they truly love.

I work on a wide range of pieces from sofas and armchairs to small footstools and headboards. I make bespoke window seats and banquette seating, scatter cushions, and arm covers.

How we can help

  • The first step is always a rough quote to give you an idea of the costs involved. It's very difficult to know what is under those covers, so my quote will reflect this. Then I will schedule a visit for a chat to take a closer look at the piece and measure it for fabric. All info will then be emailed or messaged to you so you have a detailed rundown of the costs and process.

  • I offer a fabric sample service once I know your preferences. The first selection is complimentary; any further searches will be charged at £15 per search. I can also advise on fabrics if you’d prefer to search yourself.

  • All pieces require a different approach. Some need to be totally stripped and reupholstered from the frame up, especially if they are antique pieces. I only replace what I need to, and I’ll do my best to salvage parts of the original upholstery. If a piece is beyond repair, I’ll reupholster it using techniques that are consistent with the piece's age.

  • Some pieces come into my workshop and may be relatively new or have been reupholstered fairly recently and just require an update and a refresh. If so, it will just require a recover.

  • Occasionally, I take in a piece that requires a little more TLC. Maybe a wobbly arm or a broken joint. I’ll do my best to repair and replace any part for you, but if it is beyond my skills, for example, if your chair needs a new leg turned, I have several contacts who can help me. Whatever is needed, I’ll always advise you of any additional costs before starting work.
